The Ibadan Business Hub is a network of entrepreneurs and business owners within Oyo State, particularly the Ibadan metropolis, who are charged with the ultimate goal of positively impacting the economy of the state through intentionally ensuring the growth of its members’ businesses. These goals are based on the belief that about 48 per cent of the economic growth of any society is highly dependent on small and medium scale enterprises.
Temitope Adelakun is the founder of Ibadan Business Hub which was officially established in January 2018 as a Business platform with the primary aim of assisting small and micro businesses to flourish, in a challenging economy.
Over the years, Ibadan Business Hub (IBH) has evolved into a structured organization, registered with the CAC, and boasts of a functional board of directors, an advisory board and a team lead of the various Departments and sub-units that now make up IBH.
Temitope Adelakun graduated from the University of Agriculture Abeokuta with a B. Agric in 2005, she has a certificate in Marketing (CIM, London) and went on ahead to bag a masters in International Business from the University of Gloucestershire, the United Kingdom in 2012.
She is very passionate about business growth and ensuring that small businesses develop systems and structures that will guarantee their success and longevity.
